Directors
Ross is the founder and chairman of beyondme. A life-long educator, Ross founded beyondme in 2006 to challenge young people to tackle the problems of the day, creating pathways for them to take their place in worthwhile projects. Ross is the Principal of Thomas Hassall Anglican College in South Western Sydney.
Garry Sheffield
Garry is the General Manager at GT Distributors and is a founding board member and also treasurer for beyondme. Garry walked the inaugural Kokoda Track Challenge by beyondme with his son in 2006.
Kevin Jamieson
Kevin is the Director 3Pl & Environment at Star Track Express and is a founding board member for beyondme. Kevin has walked the Kokoda Track and played a lead role in the Taste of Kenya corporate venture by beyondme in 2009.
Simon McTigue
Simon is the General Manager Commercial & Retail at Walker Corporation, and is a founding board member with beyondme. Simon walked the Kokoda Track with his daughter for beyondme in 2007.
Ian Sekuloski
Recently appointed to the beyondme board, Ian has extensive business experience in the Asia Pacific region and been a senior executive in some of the leading global organizations such as Fuji Xerox, Dalton Packaging, American Express and Goodman Fielder. In the recent past, Ian has also acted as executive board member and CEO in companies such as Moore ADS, Raptor Motors and Revetec Limited. Ian brings a range of business experience, business management and business development skills to beyondme, further strengthening our team.
Russ began working as our executive officer in 2009, and has spent the last decade working with youth in Australia and overseas.
Scott is currently studying engineering at the University of Wollongong and overseas the media and design aspects of beyondme.
Ryan runs a building company, and is a regular leader of our Kokoda treks. He plans to be significantly involved in our Kokoda High School Project.
Mick also leads our Kokoda treks, and is a high school teacher at Thomas Hassel Anglican College. He is famous for having walked the Kokoda track 2.5 times. He sustained an injuries to both knees on his first trek that saw him airlifted out, but has returned to walk the track twice since.
