Last October beyondme successfully organised the 6th successive year of the Kokoda Challenge. Well done to Teachers and Students of Tyndale Christian College in Adelaide and Thomas Hassall from Sydney.

Rough Sleepers School April 2011

The latest addition to the beyondme calendar of programs is our rough sleepers school, held in the inner-city suburb of Woolloomooloo.

Rough sleepers school includes a street level understanding of homelessness and inner city social issues, a walking tour of Woolloomooloo and surrounds, discussions about community development approaches to marginalised communities, a sleepover in the heart of the city’s main rough-sleeping hotspot, plus breakfast on the street, including interactions with locals.
