Rough Sleepers School

The latest addition to the beyondme calendar of programs is our rough sleepers school, held in the inner-city suburb of Woolloomooloo.

Rough sleepers school includes a street level understanding of homelessness and inner city social issues, a walking tour of Woolloomooloo and surrounds, discussions about community development approaches to marginalised communities, a sleepover in the heart of the city’s main rough-sleeping hotspot, plus breakfast on the street, including interactions with locals.

Kokoda Trek 2010

We're trekking Kokoda again this spring; why not join us?

Each October beyondme sends people to walk the Kokoda track, the infamous jungle trail where Australian & PNG soldiers fought the Japanese in WWII. The Kokoda Trek is a physical & emotional challenge, as trekkers learn firsthand what life is like for the people of PNG, and for the soldiers who fought and died there.

Join us for one of the most challenging & profound experiences on the planet. The 10 day journey includes all accommodation including two nights in Port Moresby, food, travel to and from Kokoda as well as trekking gear.
