Volunteer

Volunteer activity is the lifeblood of non-profit organizations like beyondme; and let's face it, the most valuable thing you can donate is not your cash, but your time…you can always earn more money, but you never get minutes and hours back. We always have a need for volunteers at beyondme, here are a few areas where we could use your help:

Administration

From communicating with our supporters, scheduling & planning our trips or organizing our events, we always need help with simply getting things done. We can accommodate those who want to serve occasionally, or those who may like to donate a few hours each month or even every week.

Graphic & Web Design

Communicating well means we need people who will monitor forums, update our social media, shoot 7 edit videos and design promotional materials. If you have skills & interest in design, we'd love to hear from you!

Trip Leaders

All of our overseas trips need leaders; we have several veterans who lead our Kokoda trek each October, and we are on the lookout for more. If you're up for the challenge of investing in others, contact us today. Please note that to keep our trekkers, we run police & DOCS checks, as well as conducting interviews with prospective trip leaders.

Event Management

We run all kinds of events each year, from corporate luncheons to schools seminars & overseas trips. If you got event management skills, we'd love to have you join us as often as you're able; once a year, or once a month.

Interns

In late 2010 we'll be looking for beyondme interns, who will come on an overseas adventure, experience hands on leadership development and help us create a better future with other young Australians. Check back here for more info in August 2010.
